Cedar Creek Lodge

Cedar Creek Lodge: Cedar Creek Lodge is a fully furnished 4 bedroom, 2 bath lodge-style house which comfortably sleeps 12. We have included all the amenities of a modern home, including a fully functioning kitchen, full size washer and dryer, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a backyard BBQ. After dinner, relax on our large outdoor deck or screened porch. The relaxation possibilities are endless.

With the "make yourself at home" feel of the lodge, you can bring and cook your own food or, for an additional fee, we can take care of the cooking for you. It's up to you. We're here to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Pets are welcome to stay inside the lodge but a pet deposit is required.

Out back we have a roofed outdoor kennel with dog houses and elevated deck, perfect for your canine hunting partner or your family pet. You will need to bring your own dog food and pet deposit may be required.

Little Cabins

Little Cabins: Our newly built cabins are the perfect accommodation for guests with smaller parties. Each cabin includes 2 queen beds, a full size bathroom, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, satellite TV, and beautiful country views. Cabins can be rented together for larger parties.

 

Deadwood Land & Cattle Company, L.C. General Rules

1. A map of properties will be clearly posted at lodge. To insure that hunters are safely spaced, all hunters will be required to mark the area in which they plan to hunt prior to entering the hunting area. All pins will be pulled after each hunting session and marked again before the next session.
2. Ensure all gates are closed/locked. Do not block access to any roads on property with any vehicle. All motorized vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas. No vehicles are to go beyond these points.
3. All State and Federal Game Laws will be strictly followed. All hunters must have a valid Texas hunting license and also be registered at the lodge prior to hunting
4. It is required that all hunters take proper care in carrying and storing weapons at all times on the properties. All weapons must be unloaded prior to entering any vehicle or the lodge and must be stored properly in a safe designated area.
5. All inexperienced hunters must be accompanied with an experienced hunter or a guide.
6. There will be no alcoholic beverages in the hunting area.
7. Hunters shall observe legal shooting times and remain in their blinds until first pick-up time designated as 9:00 a.m. and every hour afterwards. Have respect for those hunters who remain to hunt. Pickup and departure shall be with all due haste. If any hunter has unlocated game, detailed information as to the possible location shall be left on the map in the lodge and conveyed to a guide or the person in charge.
8. Blinds shall be left in clean condition and free of debris, food wrappers, shells and clothing.
9. There will be no shooting of any firearms except at designated sighting and practice areas and in the field shooting at game.
10. Shoot only when there is a good chance to kill and retrieve the animal. All animals on property are to be harvested properly, not shot at and/or run off the property to die. NOTE: Any button bucks killed require the hunter to pay a fine of $250.
11. Anyone shooting or injuring any farm animal or damaging the property will assume any and all costs or expenses involved.
12. Deadwood Land & Cattle Company reserve the right to cancel any hunt (or eject any hunter) with no remittance of fees for dangerous, abusive or unsportsmanlike conduct.
13. Deadwood Land & Cattle Company are not responsible for hunting accidents or accidents of any type. Each hunter must sign a waiver of liability in advance or upon arrival at the lodge.
